e-man and I both failed to link to a wiki article because that article’s title has a colon in it. EE is munging the url on post (not preview), and it breaks.

See the bottom of this thread for details.

Looks like a fix is in order for the link handling, or don’t allow special characters in wiki titles.

A minor annoyance, but worth pointing out…

    Thanks!

I renamed your article so that linking would work, and will make sure to point this out to our developers.  Thank you.

    Hi, ee4me:

We actually can’t replicate the link from e-man’s article; so I’m going to ask him to pop over here and let us know exactly what he entered so that we can try to reproduce it.

Here’s the correct link: relationships under the hood.
Glad to be of service, milady 😊

No no, I need to know how you got that weirdly encoded link; no matter what we enter, we can’t get that and need to reproduce it.  Thanks =)

I think e-man and I followed the exact same procedure initially to make the bad link.

    Try this:

    1) Create a wiki article with a colon in the name.
    2) Navigate to it, and copy the url.
    3) Use the “<a>” button to put that url in a post.
    4) Submit the post. (Preview works fine, btw.)
    5) View the post. Broken link!

Actually, I just looked on this page and that’s where I found it. The link on that page has been fixed too I see.
