Hi all,

I’m a (very) newbie about here and was just wondering if EE can be used to ‘submit’ news from external sites?

IE: A news article say on Yahoo. I could submit the link and a small desc and then use grabs a trackbacks from teh page etc..?

I know the open source Pligg (http://www.pligg.com) does exactly this, however in beta and I’ve had a world of problems with it! but it does have voting for articles!

Sorry if this has come up before, be excellent if there was a module/plugin.

Yep, I’d say you can do it with a Stand Alone Entry Form with some conditionals for members.
