I have the Edit Tab AJAX extension installed on a client site, and have noted that it seems to affect the search results.

    It’s EE 1.6 build 20070627

If I enable the extension and type a word that exists in only one post I get 7 pages of results.  If I disable it I get just the one post returned.

Hold the phone…just noted I’m not using the latest version.

I’ll go update and see what happens.

Sorry…got behind some blue-hairs on the information highway…*ducking*

Seems to have fixed it—waiting for confirmation from the client.

It is not working for me in IE only in FF. Do You know something about this issue?

Are you running the latest version of the extension as well as the latest EE?  If so- how’s it failing?

    Edit Tab AJAX (v.1.2.1)

    ExpressionEngine 1.6.0 - 20070918

It is just working as before, and not using AJAX.

I can’t test to replicate on 1.6.0, so can’t swear for sure what’s up with that version.  Can you do a quick version upgrade to the latest 1.6.1- see if that helps.  If it still breaks after the upgrade… any other extensions at play.? And are you getting any js errors, anything that might give a hint.

I can’t make an update just like that. But never mind, this is not so important. I will post some news after I do an update. There’s no error or nothing like that. No script error at all. It seems like without this extension. I have these extension online. All working as they have to.

    Strange URL Interpreter (v.1.4.0)
    Edit Alert (v.1.0)
    Textarea Resizer (v.1.0.0)
    Edit Tab AJAX (v.1.2.1)
    Filter By Author (v.1.0)
    Show Entry Views (v.1.1.0)
    Live-search (v.1.0.8)
