    Hi there forum friends—-

I’m developing a site this week using a sub domain ... beta.mydomain.com and I plan on porting the entire project once finished, to http://www.mydomain.com

I will be using the same mySQL database during the entire development process so that once the website is ready to go, I can hopefully install EE on the primary url, hook up the existing database and voila! it works—- or so I’m hoping.

Anything I need to know about this sort of development process?
Can I use the same database?
When I install EE on the primary url, will it overwrite the existing database tables?

    Thanks,
    Ben
