Hi,

I’ve been working on an EE site for quite some time now.
All of a sudden, when trying to create a template (hitting the Submit button), it just loads the CP homepage.
After trying it a few times, it finally created the template.

I then tried editing it, and when I hit the Submit button, it took me to the CP homepage. After doing this a few times, it managed to work here and there… like 15% of the time. Now it doesn’t seem to be working at all.

This has never happened to me before. I’m running EE 1.6.0 Personal (Build 20070726)

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? How is your internet connection? Are you experiencing any sort of lag on other sites?

When I try to update this post to add on the below info… it just reloads this page… I wonder if it’s related to IE7… (yes, IE7) :(
I’m trying this now with Firefox

I haven’t installed any addons very recently, and have certainly “performed” these actions numerous times since my last addon installation.

So you’re saying the same thing is happening here as well as on your site. That points to a browser problem of some sort.

When was the last time you rebooted?

NOTE: The problem turned out to be a problem with Pie Man’s ISP.

Sorry I couldn’t post an update earlier…. I’ve been struggling with posting here as well.

Roughly the same thing was hapening here… I was able to post the topic. AFter that, I couldn’t edit the post, post a reply, or post a new post. Very very occasionally it allowed me too.

After testing 2 different website, multiple browsers, AND 2 different computers from my home, restarted computers, and Routers, etc, and what takes the cake is, I used a free CGI proxy website to view my website, and everything worked perfectly fine. It’s obviously my ISP.

Although, the funny thing is, I had to argue with my ISP about it (after waiting on hold for 45 minutes). They “determined” it had to be my website… even though I pointed out all the above, inlcuding it happening on this website, and obviously no one else was affected.
Not to mention my brother used my website and I’m using it here at work, and both work normally.

Anyways, I’m hoping to get things straightened out today….
