    Hello from Salzburg,

in this post I would like to get help from people who have experience with EE and google analytics.
In my google analytics stats I get weired URL results like these one:

    /about/about/http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php
    /work/http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php
    /blog/http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php
    index.php/about/about/http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php
    /about/impressum/http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php

So what’s wrong with this? At the end of all strings because of some reason the domain is added “http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php”

Does anybody know why and how I can avoid this?

Thank you in advance for your kind help and hints,
    Engelbert

I realize this is an incredibly late reply, but what do you have set as a ‘default page’ in GA? If you have “http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php” in there, it should just be index.php at most.

However I’m thinking of removing that, since with index.php set as a default page in GA, you’ll still windup with /index.php at the end of every page in GA.

    Hey Pete,

thank you very much for your reply. Yes, it’s true: I HAD “http://www.webdesignetc.de/index.php” in there as default page but deleted it just yet. I hope, this will solve the problem. I thought I was correct in doing that… hm,hm. I’ll let you know if it helped. Thank you anway and greetings from Salzburg, Austria
