I’m planning to use EE to rebuilt a site that know uses asp. It is a fairly large site with three SQL databases and about 3 - 5.000 users daily. So I’m now in the process of learning EE which is not easy. I find that the documentation lacks an in depth look at EE features and the tutorials are just a few. Are there any other recourses that I can use?  Is there any book about EE?

I would recommend reading through all of the posts in the Blog - specifically three series:

    The Importance of Semantics
    Behind the Curtain
    Last Week on the Forums

The last one has a few links to Boyink’s tutorials on building a website in EE.

Read those three together and you’ll be well-armed going into this site.
