Can ExpressionEngine be bought, e.g., from Europe, with receiving an invoice confirming the purchase (for accounting, w/ signature & stamp).
Thanks.

To be honest, I am curious why you would need that: About the only thing you’d need an “original” invoice for is tax purposes, and then not when dealing with the US (as EU European). In all other cases the credit card statement is generally considered sufficient. Having said, probably best to ask Leslie at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

the credit card statement is generally considered sufficient.
I looked at the information at my Visa account:
02146496
ELLISLAB INC.>BEND 840
That’s all. No product details.
These 2 lines are not sufficient for any tax inspectorate to show the product was bought for the company business, not for any personal needs.
So, nobody can include the amount in the company’s expenses/balance sheet.

Hiya,
I think that is the same no matter what card you purchase EE on. I purchased on a different credit card type to yours (UK) and it showed up not saying what the product was also. Everything else I buy over here also has very limited data on what it actually is that you have bought. Sometimes I have to really struggle hard to even figure out what it is that I am looking at. With EE at least it shows Ellislab so you have some idea of what it was.
I’m sure though that if you get in contact with the sales team and explain what you need they would be able to put you together a PDF invoice for the purchase somewhere along the line.
Hope this helps and hope you get what you need.
Best wishes,
Mark

Thanks a lot for the reply. But I was asked about that and I understand the problem somebody can have.
So, I asked here to get some public information, I don’t want to be a “Chinese Whisper” 😊 (“Broken Phone” in Russian).

sigork, is the receipt (clickable from your downloads page) not sufficient? Matched up with the credit card statement, I would think (not an accountant) that that would negate a need for a letter, signature, cancelled stamp, etc.
