    Hi,

I am new to Expression Engine and In need to integrate paypal. So, I am simply confused.
I am not selling any products but I have two courses available. So visitors can register online and book their seats.

The first course costs $250. So there is a register form with two radio buttons

    1. paypal

    2. by money order

when user clicks the paypal and hits submit , it should take to the paypal page and return to the site after payments. if user clicks to the money order and hits submit it
    should show the required information.

The second course is $250 for ordinary visitor and $200 for previous students with other things same in the form as mentioned above.

I am confused how to implement this.

Please any hints / ideas or help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards!
    Thanks in advance!

Hello, crazy - you might look at the simple commerce module, which comes with the licensed version of ExpressionEngine.

    Hi, thanks.

Yes there is simple commerce available under module. But I have to add section(weblog) as new item there. Can i sell service through the simple commerce not an item.

    Regards!
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, just create an entry that is the service, and they can buy it that way then perform the service.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the help.

    Ok my last question is

I am using freeform from solspace in the same page. And I have a drop down menu where user can select a product (service) out of two. There are also two radio buttons (one for paypal , one for moneyorder).

So, how to show the two products in the drop down menu and how to take the user to paypal payment page for the selected product in drop down, if paypal radio is selected.

    Regards!

    Thanks in advance!!!

At last I ended up with my custom form and simple commerce module and its working good with few php lines.

But just want to say that very poor support in this forum as I guess its the official EE forum. Because you guys should tell if its doable / not doable or simply our support dont cover this but answering for easy questions and keeping blank for other questions is not so good.Just a waste of time to wait for your answers.

    Greetings, crazynp,

I am sorry that you feel that way.  I, and of ExpressionEngine users, feel that our support is top notch; however, you were asking for support with a third-party module and advanced customization, I would recommend looking to our Pro Network or post a job ad if you need assistance with advanced customizations.

I’d also invite you to read this post for a forum overview.

I also note that you are not showing as a licensed user but are using a module that comes only with the full version; I ask that you emai sales to clarify the license issues.  Thank you, and have a great evening, and I hope that you had a wonderful long weekend.

    Hi,

    Thanks.
The site I am working on is not owned by me, I am just the person working on it. But the EE v 1.5.1 is there and its purchased with the license. If I should register it somewhere I will be happy to do so.

The problem was solved by writing few PHP lines.

    Thanks

    Hi—

If you are working on a licensed version, then please do e-mail sales with the license number and your username here and we can get you properly flagged for support needs.

You can find the license number in Admin -> General Config, or, of course, ask the site-owner.

    Thank you. =)
