Any add-ons out there like this?

    1. Any way to show something like the five most recent incoming links as reported by Technorati?

    2. Any way to show the most recent trackback? For example, I’ve got a small section on my site which I want to display the person’s site that gave me the most recent trackback. Is this possible?

    There’s a exp_trackbacks table. Try creating a query to display the contents of that.

    (Helping you bait the hook, but not giving you a fish.)

    Try the first party plugin Technorati

    Thanks Ryan, that add-on for technorati is just what I needed!

    Sue: I must have looked over it earlier in my searches but it seems that this will do exactly what I need: http://expressionengine.com/downloads/details/recent_trackbacks/

    Okay, nevermind, that wasn’t what I needed at all. I didn’t read it closely enough.

    So, with that said, I’m not sure what I’m doing with writing queries. I have zero MySQL experience. But how does this look?

    {exp:query sql="SELECT receive_trackback FROM exp_trackbacks WHERE ~I don't know what to user here~ "}

    {don't know what to use here either}

    {/exp:query}

    That’s probably not even near close to being right, is it?

    A trackback is a whole lot different than a referrer.

    A trackback means someone else posted on their blog and referenced your post. They also have to manually use the trackback URL which doesn’t happen much anymore.

    You’re looking for referrers ONLY from technorati?

    Well I was interested in both actually. Just curious if it was possible to show the most recent trackback as well as the most recent referrers or incoming links in Technorati. Two separate things.

    I was under the impression that with trackbacks, EE has an auto discovery feature where people don’t actually need to use the trackback URL but simply the URL of the article and it will automatically do all the trackback stuff?
