To receive the discount, do we need to buy everything at once or can we receive it as we reach the discount threshold?
If so, does the store automatically know and credit us?

You don’t have to buy all your licenses at once. As long as you use the same account to buy your licenses, the store will remember and credit you once you reach the different thresholds.
