MSM Combining Existing Sites

I’ve tried looking back through the forums for something in regards to this question without any luck.

I’ve got two sites that I currently operate on seperate Personal Licenses.  If I purchase the new MSM, how easy is it to “import” one of these sites into the existing EE setup of the other?

I would love to have one installation to work off of but the two sites are hosted with the same company right now but on different machines.  I just need to know how easy it is to combine them into one installation.

    Thanks,

    Robert.

PS.  Also, since I have two currently active and paid up-to-date Licenses, is there any way to “trade-in” one of those licenses for additional site above and beyond the three included with MSM?

    Hi—

You should have a look at this thread where the question of importing was raised.

You can e-mail sales with your other question,  that would be a more appropriate venue to handle it.

No, that post doesn’t really help.  It just says I’d need to handle database migration manually.  Well, exactly what does that entail?  Migrating each piece of the existing database into the other? or is there a way to migrate the entire existing database into the other using an import function from within the MySQL/PHP console?
