I recently noticed that my database is getting big, especially the exp_relationships table which is 4 MB. The site uses quite a lot of relationships (pulling images from various galleries), but I mean 4 MB is REALLY big.
Is this normal? 😊

The relationships table is a compiled cache of everything needed to display the data for an entry which greatly reduces the queries required to display related entries, so yes, if you have many relationships, that is normal.
