I know I’ve actually looked at Derek’s article on the “anatomy of an extension”. I, for the life of me, can’t locate it…could someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

I’m not finding it - EEDocs:// Extensions- might this be it?

Hello Sue. Yeah, I’ve got that.
Maybe I’m just imagining I saw something. I’m looking for info that would clue me into why EE isn’t recognizing the extension I’m working on. I know it knows the extension is there because when I initially placed the file in the extensions directory, I got a parsing error due to a missing “;”.
But with the correction made, a clear of my system cache, and a refresh of my Extensions Manager in my CP, I see only the extensions I had loaded prior. I’ve been able to load other extensions. So…I’m left scratching my head.

Hey - you would be post to post something in the Extensions Tech Support thread so that some developers can come to your aid. =)

When we reorganized our site back in March and combined the EllisLab family, we pruned and closed a number of older entries. I’ve reopened that one, but if you’re having a specific problem, I would seek the assistance from the community in the Extensions forums.

Hey Derek,
Thanks for re-opening.
I, figured out, with the assistance of c.emerson that it was the naming convention for the extension itself I was not following correctly.
She’s working with me.
Thanks Guys.
