Hi,

I have a site with several weblogs running in it.

On weblog index pages, where I list all entry summaries in the weblog, I am also displaying recent entries in other weblogs.

However, on single-entry pages, where I list a single entry in full, none of the recent entries in other weblogs are being displayed.

So these both work, displaying recent entries from the blog weblog, or news weblog:

http://paulcarvill.com/greatpark/index.php?/blog/
http://paulcarvill.com/greatpark/index.php/news/

but these dont’, displaying only the single entry:

http://paulcarvill.com/greatpark/index.php/news/newsitem/pauls_news_item/
http://paulcarvill.com/greatpark/index.php/blog/newsitem/this_a_the_first_greatpark_blog_post/

Any ideas?

I’ve tried using dynamic=“off” in the exp:weblog:entries tag, but no joy.

You do need dynamic=“off”, but you may not have it in the right place for your template.

Make sure your recent entries code snippet has dynamic=“off”.

the “blog” weblog entries display, but the “news” weblog entries don’t.

Hm- I’m not spotting where you’re off- looks good to me.  Are you dead sure the weblog=“news” tag on the broken template is exactly the same as the one you’re using on the working ‘news’ template?  Aside from the addition of the dynamic=“off” parameter?  Could be things like the weblog name is spelled wrong, or they’re all in a custom status- something like that.  So double checking against the working one is a good idea.

If that’s not it- I’d start to suspect an open tag, nested tag- something along those lines.  Because all by itself- it looks good to me.  Post the whole template inside [ code ] tags if you don’t spot it when comparing against the working template.  See if I can spot something odd.
