I have been building websites for years but am totally new to server-side work and totally new to EE. I have a default site up and running and can’t get past Go.

I had this notion that I could import a site design I have built and insert EE tags to manage dynamic content. However i can’t seem to find documentation to answer the stupidest of questions. I’ll start with this one:

How do I link to images?

I often make a design in Dreamweaver, break it up into several templates and then embed them.

    To link to an image:

    {site_url}your_image_folder/img.jpg

Of course adding in width, height, alt etc.

from some reason that does not work in wiki-module with IE7.
In FF i get the picture (banner) shown but when surfing with IE - no banner shown. Does wiki-module have some kind of a css or something what keeps that linking off?

Thanks mjds. It just strikes me as odd that all the images would end up being rendered as full path links. But I guess it doesn’t matter.
