I am starting a website for which I want a common look and feel for both the weblog and the discussion forum. I assumed when I installed EE and the DF with the default themes, they would look identical, but they don’t. I like the defualt look for the DF. Is there an easy way to make this the dedault theme for the weblog?

I also want to make sure that members who register in the weblog are automatically members of the discussion forum. Since the Control Panel handles user management separately for the two, I assume that they aren’t necessarily integrated, at least not without significant work arounds.

    Thanks a ton.

Let’s put it that way, regular templates are much easier to change then the forum ones. So, here’s what I’d do. Bring up a forum page, copy the source code and take it from there. Shouldn’t be too hard to convert to a regular EE template.

    Yes, that’s happening automatically.
