I asked this through regular e-mail, but suspect this path will result in a faster replies…

Can I pay by bank transfer? Due to decisions by my bank that not just apply to me (it’s a long story—don’t ask; suffice it to say I was furious), I no longer have a credit card. I’m in Europe, so I would be paying for all charges, but you would have to cough up the SWIFT address, bank account, bank address, and everything else neede to make the transaction a smooth one.

My Multiple Site Management question is this: I have two EE licenses, but have a dedicated server all to myself, which means I can run EE on as many domains as I like—at least, given the restrictions that always applied…

It’s not my intention to run a dozen sites—I wouldn’t know where I would find the time and energy—but I would like to add a third domain to my EE collection. The question now is: should I buy a third EE license, or should I buy a MSM license and just keep running with the 2 EE licenses I already have?

I think I don’t understand what MSM brings extra to EE…

Erik, your question via sales was answered 15 minutes after you sent it.  Did you not receive the response? You might check our spam filters to make sure it’s not there.  Let me know.

The MSM allows you to handle multiple sites through one EE - that means only one backup, only one site to upgrade, only one control panel.  It also means you can have those sites talk to each other via embeds and relationships, and probably other creative ways we’ll see come up in the next few days/months. =)  It allows you to run totally distinct sites but that can talk to each other and are managed in one location.  This is a huge boon to many people.  If it is something you want is something you need to consider, of course.

Personally, in your situation, I would go with the MSM.  Merging your existing sites together may be somewhat difficult for you.  See this post where that exact question was answered, as far as merging.

Anyhow - I think my answer is a bit vague, but much of it depends on you and your preferences here.

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for the answer.

Nothing in my spam filters, though…

I’ll try re-sending it now. If you haven’t gotten it in say, an hour or so, let me know and I’ll send from an alternate account. =)
