I had created edit screens for registration pages on a client site. These allow the chairmen member group to be able to make edits to registrations created by members in their region. It worked with no problem before the EE 2.9.2 upgrade. After the upgrade — the chairmen could see the member registrations but the edits wouldn’t take.
I ran across this bug report:
I was already doing this with the chairmen group:
The person attempting to make the edit must have “Can change the author name when posting channel entries” set to “Yes”
But set up ALL member groups to this now as well:
The original author’s group has to have “Include Members in PUBLISH page multi-author list?” set to “Yes”
It seems to have addressed the issue. Was this the correct solution? Do you see a problem with having made the multi-author list setting change to ALL member groups?
