I’ve migrated a site from a development server, where it was working fine, to a live server, where it’s not working at all.

The front end is showing the dreaded white screen, and after entering login details into the admin panel I’m getting the following error:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1054

Unknown column 'remember_me' in 'field list'

    UPDATE `exp_members` SET `remember_me` = '' WHERE `member_id` = '1'

    Filename: libraries/Auth.php

    Line Number: 619

I followed all the recommended migration steps, have tried re-uploading files and re-importing the database several times, to no avail.  config.php and database.php have the right details…

I’m stuck!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m running EE 2.8.0.

    Two things to try

    1. Clear out the /cache folder
    2. Run a repair on your database tables in case there’s some corrupted data

Thanks very much for taking the time to help Rob.

Unfortunately neither of those steps worked…

The site is still blank, and the admin login still results in that database error.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

    Thanks,
    Pete

All sorted.  The problem was missing files in the site backup.  Schoolboy error!
