Hi,

I’m looking into using EE for a new project. The project requiries the following:

1. Admin to create member: username & password
2. Admin to add some basic location information for the created user: address, contact etc
3. Member login details to be passed on to member to allow them to add additional information such a gallery images, case studies, testimonials etc.

The front end would allow a location search and show results, visitor would click a result and be taken to a page that shows the member information, case studies etc.

It would be like a trade locator but with extra infomation on the members own page.

I’m sure this is possible with EE, I’m just wondering what modules/plugins I would need or is this someting that can be done out of the box.

I think the most common way to pull this off is to run members as channel entries, so that you have the full vocabulary of custom fields to use. I know this is how Director-ee works, maybe shoot those guys an email for how they connect a registration to a new channel entry.
