Forum Signature Encoding

I am having a problem with forum signatures in my forum.

When going into ‘Edit Signature’ in the personal settings menu, any line breaks or paragraphs are then showing as a
```
\n
```
in the forum.

So, if I set my signature as:

1. Yes
2. No

3. Who knows

It displays as:

1. Yes\n2. No\n\n3. Who knows

How do I fix this?
