Whats the best way to deal with comment spam? I have a site with thousands of spam comments so what would be the best way to delete the spam and prevent it from happening in the future?

http://www.putyourlightson.net/snaptcha works well at combatting spam, also check http://www.devot-ee.com for other anti spam solutions.
