Just updated ExpressionEngine from 2.5 to 2.7.3 this morning and I’m having all sorts of login problems. I’ve finally pinned it down:
When a user logs in (either on the frontend or the CP), unless the user marks the Auto-Login checkbox, the user is not logged in. On frontend, it gives a “Congrats you’re logged in wait a second before we redirect” message. On backend, it just refreshes the login screen.
I have both Admin and User Session types as Cookie Only.
I have this in my config.php file: $config[‘cookie_prefix’] = “”;
When I look at the cookie preferences, the only thing filled in is the domain, which I have set to “.mydomain.com”
Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
