I recently upgraded from ee 1.7 to 2.7 and am having some problems. If I edit a current entry or publish a new one, the status shows up containing nothing. I went through the channel preferences and made sure they were set to open. I also tried to change the channel form settings to open and that didnt work either. Does anyone have an idea whats going on here? Thanks

Did you clear the EE cache after upgrading?
Can you see Status selections in Channel>Edit group assignments, make sure the Statuses are correctly applied there.
