    So, in a member profile, I have created a custom field for company_state as a select and its populated with the US States. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to render out a select with those options for selection in a frontend form (I am using Solspace User’s user:edit if it matters.)

    Anybody know how to do this? Would be much appreciated.

    Jeremy,
    I think you might get a more knowledgeable folks at the Solspace forum. If you were using the native Member module then you could use the custom member profile data tag pair.

    I’ve had pretty quick responses at Solspace forums with their products.

    Ok, I’ll give it a shot. I thought I might just be not doing it right with the custom_profile_data tag, but maybe it just doesn’t work inside User tags.

    So for anybody else, the answer was buried in the User docs:

        <select name=“company_state”>
        {select_company_state}
          <option value=”{value}” {selected}>{value}</option>
        {/select_company_state}
        </select>
