After upgrading to 2.7.2, the control panel is not styled.  I have checked the following:

Themes path setting in General settings.
My Account theme setting.
I have tried moving CP_themes to the system directory.

This occurs in all browsers that I have tried (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera).

The following two error lines appear in Chrome’s console for any page in the control panel:

[13:49:57.743] The stylesheet http://homeofeconomy.net/themescp_themes/default/css/jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.css?v=1383158321 was not loaded because its MIME type, “text/html”, is not “text/css”. @ http://homeofeconomy.net/system/index.php?S=7316ddf65ba5baa1564692502a729569&D=cp&C=design&M=template_preferences_manager

Any and all help/insight is greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured it out.  After posting I noticed the run-on directory name in the error messages:  themes(/)cp_themes

Added in a / at the end of the Themes directory URL in general configuration and it’s working fine now.
