problem with Cache Directory Path

Hi,

I would like to set something other than the default system/cache/ folder, the cache_path was defined in the config file. But it doesn’t work, even if I use a correct one and when the folder is set to 777 like:
/home/mysite/cache/ or /home/mysite/www/cache/

It seems many EE users have the same problem.
