As a visual designer, I would like to take my services to another level and was hoping that I could be given some advice surrounding the CMS behind EE. Do I need to know PHP for instance, how easy is it drop in HTML5 & CS3 layouts into the CMS without developer coding knowledge such PHP or MySql?
Is this something that can be picked up as you go or must you have a good understanding of this before-hand?
If there a particular learning path I could take to learn, do you need to be a developer to integrate this into working website from a design perspective?
I have an insatiable appetite when it comes to learning so any help, thoughts or comments would be very much appreciated.
