Hello all,

Thanks for you help ahead of time on this…I’m seeing an issue, where after upgrading from 2.1.3 to 2.7.2, I’m noticing that a file upload field that I had set up for a blog is not pulling in the image (in this case, a featured image for the post). In the EE form in the control panel, I’m seeing the following, after taking a look at the edit entry screen:

See the attachment for a better example. It’s referencing the right file for each post, but not actually displaying it like it’s supposed to. It results in the featured image not even rendering in the blog post on the front end (no <img> code at all).

It seems like maybe I’m there is a path setting that I’m missing or something. I can’t figure it out. I’m a bit of a newbie, so I do apologize if this is an easy fix.

Also, I should add that I’m using the latest version of CE Image. Not sure it’s related to that or not…

I wonder if this is related to needing to synchronize the image database?

Go into Content/File Manager/File Upload Preferences and click on the little button for each directory in the “Synchronize” column there.

Let me know if that fixes it or not.

Yes, that fixed it! Does this need to be done every time I upgrade?

Only after major ones. Bugfix and security fixes likely not.
