Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible or difficult/dangerous to insert and/or update data in an entry from the frontend, without using a form (Channel Form, Safecracker), but directly with PHP or a simple plugin.

I found this in the docs. Haven’t tried it yet on an EE-table for fear of breaking something.
