Edit Channel Field
Default Text Formatting: Allow override on publish page: YES
I click UPDATE, open the channel field again and the setting has reverted back to NO.
Any ideas?

+1 same problem - (my issue here: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/237864/)
And I dare not upgrade to newer version because of major time used on this upgrade form 2.5.5.
