We have a site that has been running fine for two years. Today the client tried to publish an article in the News channel and upon submission was directed to the main 404 page for the site instead of to an error explaining the issue.
After several attempts at testing and trying to fix it I found that the error was occurring when the word “Immigrant” was in the Title field. It submits with every other word or any other word in the title, just not Immigrant, which seems pretty odd to me.
Not only that, but after testing more than a few times and getting the 404 page the hosting server we’re on Jumpline blocked our IP automatically, they say because of having too many open connections.
I’m not sure where to even start with this as searches have not yielded anything similar.
Has anyone encountered an issue like this before that may be able to help me sort out why that one word is causing the issue?
