So… this is super weird. I have a couple of projects, all on 2.6.1, that have a strange bug: they require 2 tries to log in to the control panel. As in, not that I got the user/pass wrong—if that happens, it will say “invalid user/pass”—but that after I enter it in, it simply returns the same page again. I enter it in exactly the same the second time, and it works the second time. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I noticed also that these same 3 projects NEVER remember the user/pass that I’ve entered in. I don’t know if that’s a browser thing or an OS thing, but my other older installs remember my credentials so I don’t have to type it in each time. But with these 3, not only do I have to do it twice, but it have to manually type.
Best I can come up with is it’s some kind of bug unique to that version but I’d love to know if I’m all alone on this. Plan now is to upgrade to 2.7 and see if that takes care of it…
