After an upgrade from 2.2.2 to 2.7, I get this javascript error in admin that cripples some admin functions.

TypeError: ‘undefined’ is not a function (evaluating ‘g.ee_focus’) in admin.php:1089

I replaced the whole codeigniter/system folder with no luck. Any ideas?

I got the same problem and I found the solution. It means that your theme/ folder was not updated properly because ee_focus is not included anymore in 2.7

Here is what I did

- Backup my third party themes
- Delete themes folder
- Copy EE 2.7 themes folder to replace the themes folder I just deleted
- Restored my third party themes

Thanks, I discovered that EE was loading an old themes folder because I dropped the site into a subfolder before the upgrade. Works fine now with no javascript errors in the console and with the newer default themes folder.
