Wasn’t there a time when the multi-site manager allowed for unlimited sites? I could swear it did. Back in my 1.4 days? I need to run a great many sites but with the license and restriction of the number of sites, the costs would be very very prohibitive.
Is it even worth running that many sites off one install?

IIRC the default license allowed 3 sites then you’ve always needed to purchase per-site past that.
There were non MSM ways to do multiple domains that floated about in the past.
Only you can decide if the costs are worth it..😉
