Hi,
After upgrading from 2.5.5 to 2.6.1 I have an issue with open a new tab in the browser and still keep logged in.
So this is how it happen: I login to EE CP, and when I want to open a new tab to do other things within the CP, I have to login again. It seems like it forgets I’m logged in.
Is it just a setting I have to change?

i seem to be having this issue as well. Has anyone found a reason why this might be happening? I’m guessing it has something to do with the cookie settings, but not sure.

Not exactly the same issue I had, but I had to switch over to “cookies only” for the CP session type, because the “edit this” links I had on the front end stopped working after “upgrading” to 2.6.1

Sweet! Thanks Chriiiiso. I’ve switched my CP over to cookies only and haven’t have an issue all day…that seems to have done the trick.
