I updated EE to 2.6 this morning. After the update things were working fine, I was able to access the CP without issue. I restarted my computer for other reasons and when I tried to login to the CP with valid credentials, it redirects me back to the login screen again.
No clue what to do. I’ve tried logging in from a brand new install of Chrome that had never logged in before and still get the same issue.
Looking for any help, thanks.

I have no clue where to start with this, especially since I can’t get into the CP at all.

I am able to login, but through a roundabout processs.
First added these 2 lines to config.php to login with cookies only and no sessions
$config['user_session_type'] = 'c';
$config['admin_session_type'] = 'c';Then disabled and removed some third-party add-ons and updated a couple others. None of the third-party add-ons had anything to do with logging in.
Changed back to session ID and cookie and am able to login. No clue what or why this happened. Hopefully it stays in working fashion.
