    Hi guys,

Recently just getting into EllisLab’s software and very much looking forward to start building websites on their CMS systems!

I have a question, however (or several in fact)...

I’m a freelance website designer and am looking at a CMS that I can use for my clients websites. They are already designed and scripted, and so what I’m looking for is something like ExpressionEngine or MojoMotor. Both seem to benefit me greatly as I have very little knowledge in php and so using the {tags} on either CMS looks to be simple.

    My concern is the following:
    - MojoMotor looks incredible for the back-end; the fact that you can see and edit right on your page is something I think my clients would love, however, the lack of support for this software (such as addons, etc) makes me concerned as it’s not as popular any more.

    - ExpressionEngine is powerful, and it seems there’s a lot of addons available (as some of my clients will also need an e-commerce / shopping cart). However, the back end looks too advanced, even for me. There’s way too many options and way too many things that a client can click on that could ruin the structure. It’s crowded, and the fact that you have to build “template groups”, then “channels” then “entries” is just a headache to get your head around.

I’m wondering if there’s a somewhat “simple” addon for ExpressionEngine that simply “dumbs down” the backend and makes it easier for myself, and my clients, to create pages, sub-pages, view the navigation structure, etc, similar to MojoMotor (in terms of the navigation structure, not the fact that you can see and edit right on your page).

I had a bit of a look at the add-on “Structure” (link: http://buildwithstructure.com), and wondering if this is the only and/or best solution to go with?

I simply just want the simplicity of MojoMotor, in terms of managing your navigation, pages and layout choices when making new pages, but with the advanced, and huge addon base that ExpressionEngine has?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to using such an awesome system!

    Regards.
