Can’t seem to figure out how to access the support that comes with my license (just bought a new license and saw that it lists that a new license comes with a 3 month support contract).
In any case, I’ll describe the scenario so you can understand what I’m trying to do before I get to the question. Our plans are to build a ‘social’ section on our site that uses Datagrab (http://brandnewbox.co.uk/products/details/datagrab) to scrape Instagram and Twitter and pull in that data into our own site. Data pulled infrom our own account will feed in and post without moderation since it ours to begin with. Taking that a step forward we’d also like to scrape those networks for hashtags that relate to us, but we want to be able to moderate that content first. So far, so good and pretty easy thanks to Datagrab.
We’re finding that on some occasions when it scrapes for hash tags (third parties) it’s pulling in a ton of new content often leading to dozens of new entries that are set for ‘closed’ as they must be moderated.
Now my question…
When using EE’s Multi Entry Editor I can see the title, url title, status, date and two options for ‘make sticky’ and ‘allow comments’. Its important when using Multi Entry Editor to also see a preview of the image Datagrab is pulling in (Instagram) or text (Twitter).
How can I best achieve being able to preview the image or text contents when using Multi Entry Editor?
Sort of guessing that for images that maybe theres a custom field from http://devot-ee.com I can use or something? I also found an addon called Zenbu (http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/zenbu) that seems to be able to do what I want, but its a paid addon and didn’t want to chance it as I have no experience with it. Also wopndering if there might be a simpler way, perhaps native to EE without an add-on?
Thanks for the help.
