Hi there,

i created a new member group for users who should edit and create entries.

The users could edit the entries now But the the state is “closed” and couldn’t be changed to “open” from the user. What have i to change in the admin of the member-group-settings?

Check if you have given this new group access to the open status. Login to your CP and under “Admin > Channel Administration > Statuses” click on the status group you are using for your channel. If you only have 1 then click on the name of the group. Once the group statuses load click on the open status and at the bottom you should see permission settings for different groups. Check and see if you given the new group access to the open status. If not, set it to Yes for all the groups you want to have access to this status and save your changes. Now try it to see if you see the open status. I hope that helps.
