I moved my site to a new domain and added a bunch of 301s on the old domain. It sort of works, but I am getting some strange results in the url for the new domain.
Here is an example redirect (old domain is kiskadazyn.com):
Redirect 301 /work http://www.kiskadigital.com/work
This shows up on my new site as http://www.kiskadigital.com/work?/work. It still works, because I have a template on the new site called “work”, and EE ignores the rest of the url.
However, one of my pages has been renamed, so I created this directive on the old domain:
Redirect 301 /contact http://www.kiskadigital.com/about
It ends up going to http://www.kiskadigital.com/contact?/contact for some reason, basically ignoring the “about” directory.
Any help from you server experts would appreciated!
