Is there a way to block user from accessing pagination that are not available?

Example, I have only 3 pages and the third page is the last page. But there are some user accessing page 10 by changing the value from the address bar such as example.com/entry/P10.

How to set the not available page as no result or not found?

you would need to check if the current page number is higher then the total pages and if so show the last page or show a 404 error

The pagination already shows up page 3 of 3, but still there are users who accessing the unavailable page by typing at the address bar such as example.com/entry/P10 although the last pagination is example.com/entry/P3. When they accessing example.com/entry/P10. it still show last data. I want make as no results or not found.
