Hi,

I’m trying to find a solution/plugin for pushing updates directly from the EE Publish Page to Social Networks, mainly FB, Twitter and G+. It would be nice to be able to include an image and text in the update. I’ve had a look at Social Update but it only sends text and no G+ support - please correct me if I’m wrong.

Anything else out there?

I have been looking for the same thing and that seems to be the only solution I have found…never tested though. Have you tried adding the Open Graph meta tags to your site? Those might be able to pull an image and description of your URL when posting to Facebook. Same thing with adding Twitter Cards to your site. For Facebook you would still have the ugly URL listed in the text though. If you have devotee please let me know if you test this or find another solution….I will do the same.
