    Hey Peeps,

We are having a strange issue on our EE 2.5.2 version. We built an intranet website where all our employees are added to the member group. We are uploading photos for each of our employees individually which works fine and after 2-3 weeks all of the photos go missing? We’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to figure out what could be causing this issue. Has anyone seeing this before? We are using the following addons/modules:

    Assets
    Authenticate
    Wygwam
    SuperSearch
    Zenbu
    Forms
    Matrix
    GWcode Categories
    Is Checked
    Markdown

I hope some one can shed some light on this one.

    Many thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike

I’ve noticed that a change in server file/folder permissions will affect images. Have you checked that the permissions are still set as per the installation requirements?

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for the quick reply. After posting this I went back and retraced my steps and found that my LDAP script that I created to authenticate users against our Active Directory was the problem. My script checks if a user exists in EE after successful authentication to AD and if not it creates the EE account for that user and logs them in. During this create step I had added an update statement to set the default photo info and forgot to put a “where member_id = $member_id” to make sure it only updates that users record. Instead it was updating all the member records in the db to the currently created member info :(. This was a pain to catch as it’s been a while since I looked at my LDAP script. But thank god I caught it as it was driving me nuts. Thanks for your help.
