    Hello all.

I’m very much a junior coder… so be nice 😊

I would like to know what best practice is for someone like myself with regard to using JQuery on my ExpressionEngine site.

Should we be using the Jquery Module or should we be installing the latest JQuery and linking to it separately so that it’s the most up to date?

The EE manual only makes sense to people who already have some understanding of web geekery… I’m a designer trying to learn about this so I can become more informed and no amount of googling is getting me a good answer.’

On that front even the JQuery website is lacking… how about a small step by step saying where to put the files and how to link to them???

Anyway I have at least figure out the install… so whats best practice?

And if I use the module where do I install the plugins etc.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

    Elliot
