    Hello,

I have purchased EE 2.1.3 in March 2011.
I have installed and removed EE from my server a few months later.

Today I want to re-install EE and the latest version is 2.5.3.
Can I install the latest version without any additional cost ?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi dublinscope,

As GnomeGrrl said, Yes you can, but. I wouldn’t deploy EE 2.5.3 in a live environment as I’ve seen a lot of people report some major bugs with it. Install it in a dev environment first and test it out before deploying it live. Good luck.

    Hi MadWebDesigns,

Would you recommend to install EE 2.5.1 or EE 2.3.1 instead ?
I have both packages in a Zip file.

    Hi dublinscope,

I would go with EE 2.5.1 but, again try it in a dev environment first before applying it to your live site. Don’t forget to take a backup copy of your website files and database just in case before you update any EE website.

    Cheers,

    Mike
