no access to website: Status: 404 Page Not Found

Hi,
I have 2 websites which had problems since yesterday one I solved myself look at:

The other website is an old version EE 1.6.6 and is not accessible at all. I’m superadmin but it doesn’t find my username. No access.
So I can’t look if this website has a add-on which references to expressionengine. Which is offline by the way and probably caused the problem with my first website and perhaps also with this one.

Is there a way to get in the website?

Hi Franka,

For you EE 1 site are you not able to login to the control panel at all?
Do you have access to the database?

Hi Zizther,

No control panel, no website at all but we could access the database.
We used the backup and upgraded the site to 1.7. We think this site was hacked. We wanted to upgrade to 2.x but that gave to many errors. We try this again later. For now it works again.
