My client wants to sell ebooks on her website using paypal. She wants something like a cart and after order successful she wants a link to a page from which a customer will be able to download all the ebooks he’s just bought. Is there any module/plugin I could use?

You could use EE’s inbuilt Simplecommerce module - http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/simple_commerce/index.html but if you need a little more flexibility then Carthrob or Exp:resso Store should work for you.

Indeed, the Simple Commerce would be a good fit on the surface. Do you have any other requirements?
