Currently there’s a link in the sidebar of the Job Description pages. It links to a form where an applicant can apply for a job. The client would like the “Position Applying For” field to be automatically filled in based on what job description page they clicked the “Submit Resume” link on. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for any info!

I’ve done something close, but the form was embedded into the page being viewed. I could pass values in as embed variables this way.

    Hi Mike,

It would it be good for you to send the “position applied for” as segment OR post this value if you wouldn’t like to show it as URL segment.

You can use JavaScript/JQuery to achieve it.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,

Do you have any examples? I found Mo’ Variables which has some GET/POST stuff.  But the little documentation it has is geared towards developers. I think I get how to retrieve a variable from the URL, but how do I create the URLs?

    Hi Mike,

I don’t have any example to show you. You can GET/POST data using JQuery/JavaScript on a click and populate that data on linked URL by using the add-ons like Mo’ Variables.

    Best Regards,
